Likang Traditional Chinese Medicine Industry Culture Museum

Tainan is a major center for the development of Chinese herbal medicine and biotechnology in Taiwan. In order to promote the public's knowledge of Chinese herbal medicine and health preservation, Likang established the "Likang Chinese Herbal Medicine Industry Culture Museum" in 2007. Through tourism services, the museum allows the public to gain correct knowledge of medicine and experience the transformation and development of the Chinese herbal medicine industry and its cultural heritage. In 2009, it was awarded the title of the first Chinese herbal medicine tourism factory in southern Taiwan.

Imagine yourself strolling through a "time tunnel," appreciating the historical heritage of traditional Chinese medicine over thousands of years, exploring the evolution of folk medicine culture in Taiwan, learning about the pharmaceutical tools of early Chinese medicine shops and the health and wellness products of ancient emperors, and experiencing the production process of modern biotechnology beauty and skincare products. The entire process will present the development of historical artifacts of traditional Chinese medicine to you.

Here, you can not only tour the high-tech biotechnology extraction process firsthand, but also learn about the uses of various Chinese herbal plants and how to distinguish the characteristics and effects of different herbal patches in the "Herbal Garden" and "Pain Relief Patch Story Museum." There are also tailor-made health and wellness lectures to help you understand how to care for your own and your family's health and improve your health knowledge. Free health lectures and a professional consultation team will teach you how to establish good health habits, and more importantly, how to use medication safely and identify genuine and counterfeit medicines, allowing you to strictly safeguard your health!

For those who enjoy hands-on creative activities, don't miss our fun and educational DIY herbal workshops!
